  • Safe Moving and Handling

    Be Prepared


    Did you know that incorrect manual handling causes over a third of all workplace injuries?


    The law states that employers have a legal responsibility to provide adequate training for those who perform manual handling tasks in their day to day role.


    The QA Level 2 Award in Safe Moving and Handling (RQF) is a regulated and nationally recognised qualification designed for those who work, or intend to work, in a role that involves manual handling.  It is the perfect courses for those working in a variety of environments including warehouses and shops.


    Successful candidates will learn the key principles of manual handling and how to apply these to their workplace.  They will also practise a wide range of techniques, ensuring that they leave the course confident and proficient in moving and handling.

  • Working at Heights

    This regulated and nationally recognised qualification has been specifically designed to increase awareness of safety considerations whilst working at height, including the importance of the equipment used and how to ensure a safe working environment.


    The QA Level 2 Award in Working at Heigh (RQF) is ideal for those who work, or are aspiring to work in any type of environment that may require them to work at height, such as; building and construction, agriculture, forestry, factories, warehouses and more.


    During this 3 hour course, candidate will focus on the safety considerations, legal obligations, control measures and reporting procedures for working at height; leaving the course with the knowledge of a wide variety of equipment and the principles used to ensure safe working at height.

  • Fire Safety Awareness

    Is your workplace safe?


    The QA Level 1 Award in Fire Safety Awareness (RQF) is a regulated and nationally recognised qualification designed for those who want to increase their awareness of fire safety in the workplace.


    Candidates will learn basic fire safety principles in order to ensure they are keeping themselves and others in the workplace safe at all times.  


    They will also learn what to do in the event of an emergency and the simple measures that can be taken to control the risk of fires.


    With subjects covered in just half a day, this course is an ideal way to ensure that all employees have a good understanding of fire safety, whilst minimising distruption to your organisation's day to day activity.

  • Infection Control & Prevention

    This Infection Control & Prevention course educates the learner about the importance of sufficient infection control at work.


    It familiarises them with sources of infections, how infections can transmit from host to host, and the effective preventative measures and remedial actions that help stop infections from transmitting.


    Infection control and prevention is essential for businesses where work activities could put employees at risk of passing on or contracting an infection.  This includes working in a healthcare environment, in close contact with people or animals, and cleaning human and animal waste.  Infections are easily passed on, but equally easy to avoid if everyone on the premises takes proper preventative action.


    The online infection control course covers the sources of microorganisms and how infectious bacteria transfer between hosts. 


    Learners will understand the process of preventing infections from spreadin.  This includes proper hand washing procedures, wound dressing, cleaning activities and waste disposal.

  • Food Hygiene & Safety for Catering

    This Level 2 Food Hygiene & Safety for Catering course helps learners to understand the basics of food hygiene so that they can work safely, comply with the law, minimise contamination and ensure the food they handle is safe for consumers to eat.


    This Level 2 Food Hygiene course has been designed to help anyone who handles, prepares or serves food in the catering industry understand their legal responsibilties and know what constitutes best practice in regards to controlling food safety hazards, controlling temperatures, food storage, food preparation, personal hygiene and premises cleaning.


    By law, all food handlers must have an understanding of the basic principles of food hygiene and know how to work safely so as to protect the food they serve from contamination.


    The course provides learners with up-to-date food hygiene information using a range of written text, interactive exercises and video content to ensure learners thoroughly comprehend their food safety responsibilties.

    This Level 1 Safeguarding course aims to help learners understand their responsibilties for safeguarding children.

    The QA Level 2 Award in Understanding Mental Health in the Workplace (RQF) is a regulated and nationally recognised qualification that has been specifically designed to raise awareness of the signs and symptoms of common mental health conditions in the workplace and how best to offer support and guidance to colleagues.  During this course, candidates will develop a greater understanding on the importance of positive mental health and wellbeing in the workplace and the role that everyone plays in recognising and handling mental health issues at work.
